Poverty- is not for me #Consumerism

The first of weekly columns about the pitfalls of getting rich. Spending money

They say that money doesn’t make you happy, but being poor doesn’t make you happy either.

Banknotes in themselves won’t make you smile from ear to ear (unless you win the lotto, but that will still be a temporary happiness). However, money can give you a lot of opportunities that you wouldn’t have as someone who is barely making ends meet. After all, it’s not about how much money you have, but rather what you do with it. Poor people tend to think differently, have different habits and a different way of approaching life than rich people. That is why it is easier for people with a ‘good attitude’ to make a living or to bounce back after bankruptcy. Poor people, on the other hand, can let go of assets they inherit or win.

Learn the six most common mistakes poor people make. Avoid them and you may one day make a pretty good fortune yourself.

MY POOR FATHER OFTEN SAID “I’D RATHER BE HAPPY THAN RICH.” MY RICH FATHER WOULD SAY “ISN’T IT BETTER TO BE BOTH HAPPY AND RICH?” – ROBERT KIYOSAKI

Here are the most common traits of poor people:

01 Consumerism

Poor people generally just “take” from the world. They absorb like sponges – food, TV series, news, games from the Internet… It’s not so bad if they keep it in moderation. However, a lot of “common people” go to extremes and have at least one addiction they lose themselves in.

One person lies on the couch for five hours a day and allows himself to be programmed by the television, another drinks a few beers every day and allows himself to be dulled by alcohol, and yet another does not take his eyes off his smartphone, on which he passionately plays a real-life simulator, and forgets about his own life.

If you are also a taker – change it! Try to give something of yourself to this world, and you will see that it will return the favour. Maybe you have an idea for an interesting book, but you never wanted to start it? Break through. Agree that three days a week after work you will write for half an hour. One and a half hours a week isn’t much in terms of your 7 days and 24 hours, so you won’t feel it too much, but after a year, the effect will be big.

Or maybe you have a lot of knowledge about a topic? Start writing articles (and earn extra money from it). Can you make people laugh? Record videos on YouTube. The possibilities are endless – find your niche and act. Not only will it give you opportunities for potential wealth, but it will also make you a happy and fulfilled person.
